appcycle Corporation is pleased to announce that ANA Holdings Corporation has started selling leather accessories made from ‘RINGO-TEX,’ a vegan leather made from waste apples and apple residue from Aomori. The leather goods on sale use the same material and ‘water and green’ design motif as the headrest covers previously used on ANA’s specially-painted aircraft, the ANA Future Promise Jet/Prop. A total of six types of accessories, including pouches and passport cases, will be available from 22 February on ANA’s official e-commerce site ‘ANA Shopping A-style’ and from 29 February on the in-flight sales website ‘ANA STORE@SKY’.
